What is IAS?
IAS Full Form : Indian Administrative Services is the entire name of the organization. The first step towards becoming an IAS or IPS officer is the IAS Civil Services Examination. The Union Public Service Commission, or UPSC, is the constitutional authority that administers this test. For the positions of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS), civil services examinations are administered by UPSC, the central body.
